Given today’s current operational environment, cracks and fissures are increasingly illuminating mounting concerns regarding security, access, and scalability of today’s global distributed – and now remote – workforce. Jack Koons, Chief Cybersecurity Strategist and Technology Evangelist, Unisys

  Jack Koons
Jack Koons joined Unisys Corporation in 2016 and currently serves as Chief Cybersecurity Strategist and technology evangelist responsible for development, enablement, and execution of Unisys global security go-to-market efforts; Jack is also active within InfraGard (joint private sector partnership with the United States Federal Bureau of Investigation), focused on critical infrastructure protection.

A former 25-year career (retired) senior United States Department of Defense full-spectrum Cyber Warfare Officer whose globally-spanning operational, management, and leadership assignments include extensive service within the US National Intelligence, Special Operations, and Cyber communities; Jack is an accomplished author and lecturer on the topic of cyber warfare and security, and is a founding member of the US Army’s Cyber Warfare Career Field and emergent United States Department of Defense cyberspace effort.

Jack is a fully-cleared Unisys global security solutions customer advocate - currently working with worldwide commercial, public sector, and National Security information technology communities - to further develop, refine, and operationalize requirements and capabilities across the technology and security spectrum.

  Chase Cunningham
Dr. Chase Cunningham primarily contributes to Forrester's offerings for security and risk professionals. His research guides client initiatives related to security operations center (SOC) planning and optimization, counter-threat operations, encryption, network security, and Zero Trust concepts and implementation. He helps senior technology executives with their plans to leverage comprehensive security controls and the use of a variety of standards, frameworks, and tools to enable secure business operations. His research focuses on integrating security into operations; leveraging advanced security solutions; empowering operations through artificial intelligence and machine learning; and planning for future growth within secure systems.

Prior to joining Forrester, Chase served as a director of cyber threat intelligence operations at Armor. He was the computer network exploitation lead for Telecommunication Systems and the chief of cyber analytics for Decisive Analytics. Dr. Cunningham is a retired US Navy chief with more than 19 years’ experience in cyberforensic and cyberanalytic operations. He has past operations experience, stemming from time spent in work centers within the NSA, CIA, FBI, and other government agencies. In those roles, he helped clients operationalize security controls install and leverage encryption and analytic systems; and grow and optimize their security operations command systems and centers.

Chase holds a PhD and MS in computer science from Colorado Technical University and a BS from American Military University focused on counter-terrorism operations in cyberspace.
